Posted October 28, 2026 | Jobs
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join the Peripheral Neuroimmunity and Pain Lab led by Alexander Davies at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Oxfore, UK, to investigate the cellular and molecular immune mechanisms underlying neuropathic pain caused by GD2 antibodies.
Your role will be to establish a behavioural assay of spontaneous pain in a mouse model of neuroblastoma and use this to interrogate the underlying cellular and molecular immune mechanisms evoked by anti-GD2 antibodies. You will work with collaborators to develop and test new antibody derivatives using in vitro and in vivo assays. You will also be responsible for processing and analysing blood samples collected from patients undergoing anti-GD2 therapy for neuroblastoma (Note, this not a patient facing role).
The post is full time for a fixed term until the 30th of June 2028
Research Grade 7: £40,178 – £48,700 per annum.
