Postdoctoral Fellow – Pain Neurobiology, Neural Repair, and Neurodegeneration

The Hong Laboratory at LSU Health Sciences Center–New Orleans is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow to study neural injury and repair, neuropathy, pain neurobiology, neuroimmune signaling, and related neurodegenerative processes, including Alzheimer’s disease. The fellow will use molecular and cell biology, imaging, behavioral assays, lipidomics/LC–MS/MS, flow cytometry, and animal models. Applicants must hold a PhD and demonstrate strong experimental, analytical, and scientific communication skills. Salary is $63,500 or higher plus LSU Health benefits, commensurate with experience.
