The San Diego Pain Summit is an international professional conference providing up-to-the-minute research in pain science and guiding participants in how to think critically as new research becomes available.
We're in ourfourth year of empowering clinicians to continue effectively treating people in pain in their clinical practice with a solid knowledge base and theoretical frameworks.
The information being presented is based on the most current pain research and is not tied to one particular reasoning or approach. Attendees will walk away with a wealth of pain science research knowledge and clinical applications without being dependent on a specific modality or treatment protocol.
Workshops: Making Sense of the Evidence with Dr. Neil O'Connell; Pelvic Health (non-internal) with Dr. Sandy Hilton and Carolyn Vandyken; Reconciling Biomechanics with Dr. Greg Lehman; and Know Pain with Mike Stewart
Special workshop for general public: Pain Toolkit with Pete Moore
Do you have a question you'd like the community to weigh in on? Maybe you'd like to ask your colleagues about the best experimental techniques to use in the lab, how to improve clinical care, or even about unpublished data? Now you can with PRF's new Q & A feature. Steve Davidson, U of Cincinnati, and Jeffrey Petruska, U of Louisville, have each posed a question--one about place preference boxes, the other about local anesthetics--to get things started. We'd love to hear what you have to say! Read more here.
