Clinical and basic science research on vulvodynia and sexual pain conditions will be one of the many highlights of the 2017 ISSWSH scientific program, which is organized by Pain Research Forum member and McGill alumnus Dr. Melissa Farmer. This multidiscplinary meeting will feature talks by Allan Basbaum, Barry Komisaruk, Janniko Georgidis, and leaders of the field of female sexual health who have shaped DSM-5 criteria for sexual dysfunctions and will inform ICD-11 classifications in the coming years.

Do you have a question you'd like the community to weigh in on? Maybe you'd like to ask your colleagues about the best experimental techniques to use in the lab, how to improve clinical care, or even about unpublished data? Now you can with PRF's new Q & A feature. Steve Davidson, U of Cincinnati, and Jeffrey Petruska, U of Louisville, have each posed a question--one about place preference boxes, the other about local anesthetics--to get things started. We'd love to hear what you have to say! Read more here.
