The Social Neuroscience of Pain Disparities Lab at Texas A&M University, directed by Dr. Vani Mathur, is inviting applications for a postdoctoral fellow to start the summer of 2017 (negotiable). Current studies utilize experimental psychological, psychophysical (i.e., quantitative sensory testing), and fMRI methods. The postdoc will have the work on ongoing laboratory and neuroimaging studies, as well as have the opportunity to collaboratively develop a new project with Dr. Mathur.
Required Education and Experience:
PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or closely related field, and a strong publication record.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience with pain research, experimental psychology, or human neuroimaging is preferred. Applicants with demonstrated interests that align with current research foci are strongly encouraged to apply.
