Brain, Behavior, and Immunity (BBI), the official journal of the PsychoNeuroImmunology Research Society, seeks nominations for the position of Editor-in-Chief. BBI is the pre-eminent neuroimmunology journal. With an impact factor of 5.889, BBI ranks it in the top 11 percent of all neuroscience journals and the top 14 percent of all immunology journals. BBI receives more than 750 new submissions each year from the fields of behavioral science, neuroscience, physiology, endocrinology, and immunology. The journal is international in scope, with submissions from almost 50 countries.
Among other criteria, the successful applicant will have previous editorial experience at the level of an associate editor or editor-in-chief of a recognized journal indexed in PubMed. The successful applicant will be required to document 25 percent academic release time to devote to this position.
