The Levy Lab, at the Department of Anesthesia, Harvard Medical School in Boston, has a second opening for a postdoctoral fellow to investigate neural, immune, and glial mechanisms of post-traumatic headache. The project involves single-unit recording of trigeminal afferents in animal models of mTBI together with the use of opto- and chemogenetic methods. The position is sponsored by multiple NIH grants and is available immediately.
The applicant should have a PhD in neuroscience, pharmacology, or physiology, and experience with in vivo rodent surgery and electrophysiology. The applicant should be able to work independently and demonstrate English-speaking fluency.
Salary will be commensurate with current NIH/NRSA guidelines.
