A postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately to investigate neural circuits related to pain transmission. This position will be supported by an NIH RO1 grant.
Candidates must have completed the requirements for their PhD degree or equivalent by the time of beginning their fellowship. They should also have a strong record of biomedical research accomplishment. Experience in neuroscience research is a prerequisite. Strong background and skills in electrophysiology are desirable. Hands-on experience in pain research and optogenetic manipulation is a plus.
