Pain Psychology: Tenure-Track/Tenured Faculty Position
The Washington University Pain Center and the Department of Anesthesiology at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis invite applications for a tenure-track position as part of the expansion of research in the Washington University Pain Center. Research into any behavioral, emotional, or cognitive aspects of pain are appropriate, and applications from candidates conducting clinical and/or translational research are encouraged. The position is targeted at the Assistant Professor level, but applications from outstanding investigators at the Associate Professor or Professor level will also be considered.
The successful candidate will be expected to direct an active extramurally funded research program and hold a part-time pain psychology clinical position at the multidisciplinary pain management center. Teaching opportunities in graduate or medical education are readily available, but requirements are minimal, permitting a strong focus on research. Startup funds are available. Review of applications will begin November 1.
