The TRYUMPH Research Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a biostatistics/bioinformatics postdoctoral research fellow. This individual will apply the latest bioinformatics methods to analyze molecular data from first-in-kind prospective cohorts of trauma survivors, and will also utilize traditional epidemiologic methods to gain important new insights into the pathogenesis and course of post-traumatic disorders. Current support for the research program includes multiple RO1s, a U award, and large-scale foundation funding, and there are abundant opportunities for multidisciplinary mentorship to independent NIH funding and transition to faculty status.
