Applications are invited for appointment as postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Anesthesiology, University of Hong Kong, to commence as soon as possible for three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a PhD degree in biomedical sciences or neuroscience. Experience in basic methods of molecular biology, biochemistry, and rodent behavioral tests is essential. Rich experiences in chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP), methylated DNA immunoprecipitation (MeDIP), and genetic engineering technology, and a strong publication record in the related research areas are advantages. Applicants should be self-motivated and work independently in a multifunctional laboratory. This appointee will participate in a translational research project to study on epigenetic regulation of neuropathic pain in animal models and humans.
